We follow one of the well-trodden routes through lush forest and dramatic Himalayan Handsome Magar Village at Ulleri and Ghorepani while exploring the diverse ethnic groups of Ghandruk Village. Itinerary

Your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu at any time will be welcomed by our Airport representative.then will transfer you to the hotel. Our representative will also explain the program in detail. You can relax at the hotel since we do not have any plans for this day. Overnight stay at the hotel.

This is your second big day in Kathmandu. During the day, you will get enough time to make preparation for the trek. We will get the chance of sightseeing around the cultural heritage sites in Kathmandu, especially which are enlisted in UNESCO world heritage site. We will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square which holds several temples including the home of Living Goddess. We will then go sightseeing to Swayambhunath Temple which lies on the top of the hill and is also known as Monkey Temple. Moreover, visiting Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas on earth will amaze you. To experience another remarkable part of the sightseeing tour, we will visit Pashupatinath Temple, an important Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. We will then relax at the hotel for the remaining part of the day. Overnight at hotel

We will depart from Kathmandu enjoying a scenic drive to Pokhara which takes approximately6/7 hours. On the following day, we will get to see cultivated terraced fields, rocky gorges, rivers, green valleys and typical rustic life of Nepal. Pokhara also popular as a natural paradise will present an astonishing view of the Himalayas including Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, as well as the five mountains of Annapurna. In Pokhara, we will stay at the hotel in the close to a beautiful lake to let you enjoy the experience of boating in stunning Phewa Lake accompanied by the vast panorama of Himalaya range, lush hills and more. Overnight at hotel.

Taking approximately five hours we will trek to Ulleri after driving to Nayapul (42 km) via a private vehicle today. This is the first day of our trek and we will have short and easy walk. Nayapool is our starting and ending point of the trek. We begin our trek through passing the well-off village named Birethanti where setting on the union point of the Burundi and Modi River. Here, we will notice a number of tea houses and shops. Walking all the way through bamboo woods, we will also walk passing a large cascade. After lunch, we cross the Bhurungdi Khola (river) via a bridge to the village of Tikhedhunga. Then following Ulleri Hill with thousands of steps and boulders that continually go upward will really prove a test of our stamina. We reach Ulleri by late afternoon. Overnight in Ulleri.

After breakfast, we ascend to the Ghorepani village. The name Ghorepani in Nepali means ‘horse-water’ due to it being an important campsite for traders before it became a trekker's stop. Ghorepani is an interesting place with small shops and stalls for selling local products and crafts. The town has two parts: one in a saddle and the other a few hundred feet lower. We stop at the higher part of the Ghorepani village that offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains including Annapurna South and Nilgiri mountains. Since Ghorepani lies quite higher than our previous stop, we begin to feel the chilly weather, especially in the evenings. Overnight in Ghorepani.

To catch the sunrise over the Himalayas, we make an early morning climb along the steep trail to the viewpoint of Poon Hill (3,210m/10,529ft), the most highlight destination of our entire trek. It is also a great viewpoint to enjoy the amazing views of Mustang, Pokhara and more than 20 of the highest mountains including the close-up views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. The snowy peaks of the high mountains loom above and around us glowing in the morning light. After taking photographs and having some coffee or tea or hot chocolate, we return back to Guesthouse. After breakfast, we head east and climb a nearby ridge. We descend through rhododendron forests, pass by spectacular waterfalls along the way and reach Tadapani to spend the night.

From Tadapani, we make a steep descent through the dense and dark forest. This part of the trek will be through a thick forest of old rhododendron trees. When the rhododendron trees are in bloom, these forests actually turn into amazing gardens. By afternoon following day, we also get to enjoy cherry blossoms in bloom on the slopes on the other side of the ravine. After trekking some more minutes, we enter the village of Ghandruk, a slope settlement with stone houses mostly inhabited by the Gurung people. Along with enjoying the stunningly close-up towering views of Fishtail, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli mountains, we also acquaint ourselves with the simple but rich cultural traditions of the Gurung people. upon arrival in Ghandruk-we took day sight in the entire village that chances to explore their traditional life/cultural, monument and as well as a local museum. then our representative Transport will Drive back to Pokhara. Stay overnight at Hotel

We will today drive to Kathmandu. On the way, from the left side of the vehicle, we will get to see the enjoyable sight of the river gorges, mountains, rustic settlements, and terraces. Then you will be transferred to the hotel where you can just relax. Overnight at hotel

Experiencing awesome time and collecting wonderful memories after finishing your Annapurna Panorama Trek, you will return back from Nepal. Our airport representative will transfer you to the airport and then you will depart from Nepal.

Nepal always in my pocket to go travel. Finally, I had the chance to undergo the Annapurna Panorama Trek with my family with Step By Step Treks & Adventure. We had opted for the Panorama Trek because it was fairly easy to do and did not require such a much physical exertion from us. And it was one of the most beautiful trekking journeys because we believe the Annapurna region of Nepal is one of the most beautiful regions out there. Avoiding other high altitude destinations, Hiking to Ghorepani, and then to Poon Hill, it was gorgeous views of the mountains. The landscapes of the area were all also very beautiful. The accommodations that we stayed at were excellent and well-treated an amazing Nepal’s hospitality. Especially on the more isolated villages and far-off settlements, the people were extremely friendly and welcomed us like one of their own. The whole experience was extraordinary and utterly beautiful and amazing. Step By Step Team is an amazing travel agency that took care of all. We should definitely be going with Step By Step again should we decide to visit Nepal in the future.

I profoundly recommend this Annapurna Panorama Poonhill trek! Glad I have made the right choice to tour with Step By Step Treks and adventure for Annapurna Panorama Sunrise Trek. It was an amazing hike through Nepali local villages, teahouses, and beautiful rhododendron forest with the ultimate goal to reach Poon Hill in time for the sunrise at Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Range. View of the sunrise is just stunning beyond word and certainly worth the effort to go on this tour. On top of that, the trek has been fun and informative and certainly pleased and grateful to have Tour Guide Bijay and a wonderful team of porters including Vheem and Kaila with us. Once again, thank you, Step By Step Treks including Krishna Lama (the faith of Karma) and Bijay for the whole activities arrangement. Definitely re-choose again for another big adventure and Highly recommended!!

"Unforgettable journey with great trekking guides and wonderful hospitality" From the moment we arrived at Pokhara bus station, we were welcomed by Step by Step trekking guides (Rupesh and Krishna), with typical warm Nepalese greeting "Namaste!" They provide tailor-made service to trekking our own pace and understand our need since we are not very experienced trekkers. We were doing the Annapurna and Poon Hill 5 days trek, the team decided to let us start with an easier and more scenic route of the Annapurna circuit. Before the trip, we had 2 days of rest and relax, also they gave us a very detailed briefing(itinerary, reminders of high altitude, possible risk, and contingency plan, etc.) and meeting of the team. Each day they will ask the preference of our meal choices and try to cater our need, also I'm surprised that they are actually good cook as well, very often we saw them not just monitor in the kitchen, they actually help prepare a meal for us, amazing after a long day of trekking, and it was delicious!! Curry, Tibetan bread, soup, Momo dumpling.....etc All the tea house( guest house) were carefully selected since they know the hygienic condition, and most importantly the water source! During the journey, we learned a lot about Nepal, and they don't treat you as a customer, but actually friends, they took good care of our physical and mental status all the time and you would never get bored! Also, they put safety first, even when they saw solo travelers, they would also give them reminders selflessly. We were so happy to have such a wonderful trip, and experience the generous and kind Nepalese hospitality.

I had two wonderful trekking, which was arranged by Step by Step. This hiking was conducted in 2014 and 2019, reached up to Poon Hill and Annapurna Based Camp respectively. The leader of Step By Step, Mr. Krishna Bholon, is one of the best leaders. His passion and leadership would be value-added to the trekking. best regards

I went for 5 days trekking to Poon Hill with my friend and we were so fortunate to choose our guide company of Step by Step. They always respond in a quick and professional manner, to give us safely and useful advice, arrange everything in a responsible way. They prepared us for the necessary information and points for notice during trekking. Also, the guide was so funny, caring and very talkative with good English speaking. The cheerful guide always has lots of jokes, which brought us lots of fun throughout the journey. He was not only lead us all the way but also take care of our physical and psychological needs. The last but not least, Step by Step charged a reasonable price with extra-good service. The beautiful views during trekking were so fantastic that we would never forget. Lots of rivers, Snow Mountains, animals, and nice native people appear in our journey. Life is so short and I would say trekking in Nepal is one of the places that you find worth going in your lifetime. To ensure a wonderful and satisfactory experience, I would highly recommend Step by Step.

We just returned from a wonderful trip and thanks to Krishna, and our guide Bijay, the trek to Poonhill was spectacular. In planning the flights and the route of the trek, Krishna answered our emails promptly and thoughtfully, which was very reassuring as this was our first experience in Nepal. Step by step took care of every detail, including transportation from the airport in Pokhara, and special food requirements, all the booking etc. so that we could enjoy every minute without worries. Bijay was extremely knowledgable and thoughtful, and we feel honored to have had him as our guide. I highly recommend using this agency for an amazing experience in Nepal.

I had visited Nepal 3 times and I always choose Step by step Treks & Adventures. This is because Step by step treks & adventures is an excellent tour company in Nepal. Being helpful and provide information which helps you to have a good experience when you are in Nepal. We had visited Poon Hill and Gokyo when we were in Nepal and both of the trekking trips are unforgettable. The tour guide offers help and explains to us when we don't understand. The porters they hired were friendly as well. We will choose Step by Step again if we are visiting Nepal for the fourth time.

I finished my Ghorepani Poonhill trek with Step by Step Trek Adventures. My guide Anil Rai was a great, very friendly and helpful, young man. He looked after me very well, making sure my meals and accommodation were sorted each day. The weather was perfect during the trek, and I had relatively clean and comfortable tea houses the whole way. Overall their service was excellent and it became the most important tour of my life. I wish to come back one day. :)

Choosing the guiding service of Step By Step Treks & Adventures Pvt.Ltd is a wise choice for my first trip to Nepal. Sophisticatedly organized by the Director, Krishna and his passionate team, the journey logistic was well-planned with nice accommodation, smooth traffic, satisfactory meal arrangement, and most importantly personal safety. We were pleased to experience a great variety of scenic views: breathtaking Ghorepani Poon Hill sunset at the peak, flourish Rhododendron Arboreum, the national flower of Nepal all the way through when trekking up and the forest scenery along descending. The assistant guide Bijay, who responsible for taking care of us four gals throughout the whole trip is responsible, meticulous and fast responding to our needs making a comfortable and stress-free hiking experience and city journey. Krishna and his team are professional and knowledgeable enriched our cultural understanding about the place with tales of the holy mountains like The Fish Tail. The unforgettable Nepalese folk song learnt gave a perfect ending for our trekking. Apart from trekking, the sightseeing in Pokhara and Kathmandu were suitably arranged to fit our first-time visit to Nepal with introduction to the famous sightseeing spots like Monkey Temple and Boating in Phewa Lake etc. Besides these miss not sightseeing spots, they responded swiftly to ad-hoc Paragliding and Sound Healing Treatment requested. Their excellence and seamless arrangement make the trip flawless with every wish fulfilled within tight time frame. I went to Nepal with curiosity and came back with enthusiasm to the Himalayas. Longing for the next adventure would step up to touch the ice of Annapurna. Step by Step is definitely a reliable, all-rounded, efficient and trustworthy partner to go on with.

It was a great experience. My friend join their trekking tour before and recommend “Step by Step” to me as he had a satisfaction experience last time. I stayed 10 days in Nepal, the whole trip was organized by “Step by Step”. Before the trip start, they’ve already provided all the information that helped me solved many questions about the hiking trek. We spent 4 days on the hill, they provide full service to us, not only guiding to walk but the information on the mountain and make sure our need has been fulfilled. Time management was excellent, just in time to see the sunrise. That was my favorite part of the trip. This is my greatest introduction of Nepal and I definitely will do ABC next time with “Step by Step” Thank you and see you soon!

Step by Step Treks and Adventures was recommended to me by my friend Emma, also from the UK, who was in Nepal last year. She was very happy to have done a trek through the company to Australia camp with guide, and now friend, Bijay. When my mum and I arrived in Pokhara we went to visit the office to discuss possible short treks in the Annapurna region, as my mum was only in Nepal for a short period. Krishna was unbelievably friendly and helpful and organized a 4-day trek to Poon Hill for us beginning the following day, with guide Dipak. Krishna arranged the necessary permits and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. He even leant me trekking poles for my sore knees! We had such a magical adventure to Poon Hill. For both of us it was out first experience trekking in the Himalayas so it was fantastic to have Dipak there who is a very experienced guide of 15 years, who could answer our many questions, teach us little bits of Nepali language and point out all of the hidden gems in the villages and on the trails. He picked out the most affordable and lovely tea houses along the way. On the morning we hiked up to Poon Hill from Ghorepani, we got up before the sun and took the many stairs up through the forest to see the sun rise from behind the Annapurna massif. The evening before had been cloudy and the mountains were hiding so we were unaware of the beauty that was going to reveal itself. The sun rose, with not a cloud in the sky. We were delighted to see the first rays of sunlight catch on the 8,000+ peak of Dhaulagiri and light up its snowy ridges in orange and pink. It’s hard to put into words, but I will say that is 100% worth the stairs! After my mum left Nepal, I planned to do the Annapurna circuit as an individual as funds would not allow me to pay for a guide for two weeks. Regardless, when I went to Step by Step for advice, they made time for me. Bijay and I had lunch and he gave me all of the advice and guidance he could regarding elevation & acclimatisation, side trails to Tillicho Lake and Ice lake among others, itinerary advice and info regarding villages and transport. He then took me to the permit office to get my papers sorted. The circuit was one of the best experiences of my life to date. The trail is so beautiful and diverse, and I met so many lovely souls along the way. I find the generosity and open hearted-nature of Nepali people so inspiring. I feel very lucky indeed! Every day I would wake up and just be so astounded by my surroundings. I was also never trekking along as I met so many fellow solo trekkers and awesome friends and at the higher altitudes especially we took good care of one another. I can’t thank Krishna and Bijay enough for how generous they have been with their time and energy. I am over the moon to have such lovely friends in Pokhara! Dherai dherai dhaanybaad!

I cannot stop thinking about my trip to Nepal and putting the beautiful surroundings to aside, I truly believe it's down to the even more beautiful people that we met at step by step. I'm very fussy when booking trips and Krishna was so patient and helpful throughout the whole process. When I finally met him, I felt like I already knew. In addition, he has a great team who truly took care of us. Bijay was our guide for the trek and sightseeing in Pokhara - he is very knowledgeable and talented and kept us entertained throughout the trip. We were accompanied by Bhim, our supporter, who also looked out for us and kept an eye on us throughout the icy and slippery trails. Lastly, Dharma who is also knowledgable and pleasant showed us around in Kathmandu. It was a great experience from start to finish and we were so sad to leave. It's not goodbye from us though, I know Nepal is a place I will return to - and these guys will be the first to know when that is!
